FEi Systems presented the new Web Block Grants Application System (WebBGAS) at the SAMHSA National Block Grant Conference, held on June 30th and July 1st, in Washington, DC. This SAMHSA-hosted conference was open to Behavioral Health representatives from all States and Territories within the U.S.

The FEi team setup a live, fully functional system for ‘hands-on’ demonstration, usable by all conference attendees, including State and SAMHSA personnel. The “rolling demo” provided for full functionality and navigation through the system, for the purpose of previewing WebBGAS’s support of the new FY2012 SAMHSA Block Grant Application. Feedback was solicited (both oral and written) from each demo participant, and captured to be used as input to improving the user experience through future system enhancements.

We also supported a 2nd-day plenary presentation by Dr. Karl Maxwell (SAMHSA/CSAT), who highlighted features of the new system with its enhanced functionality and user control.

FEi is proud to be associated with the delivery of a new generation of WebBGAS, serving U.S. States and Territories, while providing SAMHSA a greater level of control of their Block Grant Applications process.
