The WITS Voucher Management Systems (VMS) was used by 3 States to manage ATR 1, and another 8 grantees during ATR 2. In fact, one-third (8 out of 24) of the ATR 2 grantees used the WITS VMS. Below is a summary of the grantees:
ATR grantees are required to collect GPRA data related to the client and supply this data using web service technology to the CSAT data repository. In addition, grantees have implemented electronic voucher management systems to issue and reimburse vouchers for this program. FEi has extended its WITS (Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services: a web based data collection and reporting system) application to include robust voucher management capabilities. The above mentioned ATR grantees currently use the WITS application to manage their ATR programs. Specifically, GPRA data collection, provider contract management, voucher management, electronic data submission to SAMHSA, and advanced reporting.
FEi also provided Technical Assistance (TA) to several ATR States to extract, transmit and load ATR data to the CSAT database. During the site visits to these States, FEi reviewed their system, made suggestions on how to improve their process, modified existing code, tested their application, conducted trial test uploads and, in some cases, developed custom code. In every case as a result of the TA, the ATR grantee was able to successfully extract and upload their data quickly, receive confirmation and error messages, and correct all data integrity issues.
In short, FEi is well equipped to assist grantee applicants throughout the ATR program.
